How does the free trial work?
- Length: 14 days of full access to the plan you choose.
- Add-ons: Any add-on marked “14-day trial” is also free during your trial window.
- Switching plans: You can switch plans during the trial; features update instantly.
- After the trial: If you subscribe, billing starts at the end of the trial. If you don’t, your workspace remains inactive until you decide—contact hello@kindercornerstone.io to remove data sooner.
Can I change plans later?
- Upgrading: We prorate the difference immediately and unlock features right away.
- Downgrading: Changes apply at the next renewal; you can keep using current features until then.
- Campus: Custom contracts and pricing—contact sales.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
- Starter: Includes up to 25 children. Overage 26–50 @ $6/child. Over 50 requires Center.
- Center: Includes up to 75 children. Overages 76–150 @ $4/child, 151–200 @ $3/child. Over 200 requires Growth.
- Growth: Includes up to 200 children. Overage 201–400 @ $2.50/child. Over 400 requires Campus.
- We show alerts at ~80% of your included cap and again when you reach it.
- CSV imports follow the same rules; if an import would exceed the max allowed window, we’ll prompt you to upgrade.
What payment methods do you accept?
- Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
- ACH: Available for eligible customers; great for larger invoices.
- Autopay: Enable automatic payments for worry-free billing.
- Receipts & tax docs: Downloadable invoices and tax receipts for your records.
Can I get a refund?
Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. Cancel anytime to stop future renewals.
- During trial: Cancel before the 14-day trial ends to avoid any charges.
- Upgrades/downgrades: Upgrades prorate immediately; downgrades take effect next cycle.
- Add-on trials: End an add-on trial before it expires to avoid charges.
- Errors: If you believe you were charged in error or twice, contact hello@kindercornerstone.io.
- Fees: Stripe processing and platform fees are not refundable except where required by law.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
- How it works: Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months.
- Changes: Mid-term upgrades prorate; early cancellation of annual terms is not refunded.
What add-ons are available and how much do they cost?
- Payment Processing — FREE add-on: Enable premium processing for 0.5% + $29/mo (paid to us); Stripe’s standard 2.9% + $0.30/txn goes to Stripe. Credit cards, ACH/bank transfers, Stripe integration.
- AutoPay & Dunning — $10/mo (or $100/yr): Automatic payment collection, smart reminders, and failed-payment retry logic.
- Kiosk & QR Badges — $15/mo (or $150/yr): Self-service check-in kiosks, QR badges for children, and contactless attendance tracking.
- White-Label Email — $20/mo (or $200/yr): Custom email domain, branded templates, and logo/color customization.
- API & Webhooks — $25/mo (or $250/yr): Full REST API access, webhook event notifications, and custom integrations.
- Advanced Analytics — $39/mo (or $390/yr): Custom dashboard builder, predictive attendance forecasting, and revenue trend analysis. 14-day trial
- Marketing & Enrollment — $49/mo (or $490/yr): Lead capture forms & landing pages, automated email nurture, and virtual tour scheduling. 14-day trial

- Processing fees are separate: Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30/txn (paid to Stripe). If you enable premium payment processing, we charge $29/mo + 0.5%. Base plans add no platform fee.
Do add-ons affect my free trial or how billing is prorated?
- Add-ons with a “14-day trial” badge start immediately and are free during the trial window.
- Trials are per organization; you can try multiple add-ons at once.
- Ending an add-on trial before it expires prevents charges. If you keep it on, billing starts automatically when the trial ends.
- Add-on trials do not shorten or replace your base plan’s 14-day trial.
- Adding an add-on mid-cycle creates an immediate prorated charge for the remaining days in the current period.
- Removing an add-on mid-cycle stops access right away and creates a prorated credit that appears on your next invoice.
- Switching plan tiers (Starter/Center/Growth/Campus) doesn’t remove add-ons; pricing for add-ons stays the same unless noted.
- Add-ons appear as separate line items on the same subscription invoice.
- Processing fees are separate: Stripe 2.9% + $0.30/txn (paid to Stripe) and platform fee $19/mo + 0.5% of processed volume (paid to us).
- Owners and Billing Admins can start/stop trials and enable/disable add-ons.
- Admins, Area Managers, Staff, and Parents cannot modify billing.
- On Campus plans, add-ons may be included or discounted per contract—contact sales for details.
- We send 3-day and 1-day email/in-app reminders before any add-on trial ends.
